Hello!

It's been a while,

I know.

I almost did not

send this message to you.

But words came to my mind,

and they are all true.

I wish I could make

things better for you,

or help you survive

what you're going through.

I don't understand

all the pain in this life,

but I do know it's hard 

and intolerable at times.

Love is invincible,

that's a genuine fact.

And doing good's worth it,

even when life is sad.

I'm not really sure

what I'm trying to say.

Just know I remember you

every day.

but this just couldn't wait.

Today, in my mind we had
a conversation or two.
We talked about everything-
poetry - you.

But now my mind's blank,
words are harder to use.
So I just need to say

I was thinking of you.

Oh Friend,

I must say

I felt special

today.

It's been a tough week,

I don't know if you knew.

But I really believe that

prayer has carried me through.

They say that great sadness

makes good poetry too.

I've a poem to write if that

turns out to be true.

Whatever the case, Friend,
